Andrew (Manchester)

Seeking a gaming group

I'm 23 and recently moved from Ireland. I'm looking to start a group to play regularly in a space in the city like Fanboy3. I've played in and ran TTRPG games for a long time, recently mostly online. I'd really like to find players interested in a narrative driven game. I'm open to learning new systems and have a few that I'm seeking to try out but DnD is where I have the most experience and I'd be happy to run it for a group. LGBTQIA+ Friendly.

Woodyreads (Manchester)

Seeking a book club

Hey! I’m 26 (female) and obsessed with horror, crime, mystery, and thrillers. Always down to swap recs or dive into new genres—open to just about anything if it keeps me turning pages! Anyone down to read some of these genres together? Can be online or in person x I just need someone to talk about some of these shocking reads with 😫

The last house on needless street

The Last House on Needless Street is so eerie and clever—it constantly keeps you questioning what’s real. It’s unsettling but also surprisingly emotional, and it stuck with me long after I finished.

Seeking a gaming group

I'm a 31 year old software engineer in Manchester. I have watched many DnD YouTube videos (lots of Critical Role and Dimension 20!) and I've been really motivated to get involved with a game! Lots of my mates have tried making games but its never worked out. I've made several characters and I'd love to start telling stories with them!

Seeking a book club

Hi, i'm 23 and I've been obsessed with reading my whole life! I love mysteries, psychological thrillers and crime books but in-between reading those, I like to unwind with a chick-lit/lighthearted romance book. I have also been loving reading general fiction books these past couple of years, specifically more emotional/sad ones. Some of my favourite authors are Holly Jackson, Jodi Picoult, Alice Feeney, and John Marrs. I'm looking to join a relaxed book group, to meet likeminded individuals who share my love of reading! :)

Erik (Manchester)

Seeking a gaming group

Never played before (except once in my teens when none of us players really "got" it so to speak), but have listened to a fair few Actual Play podcasts and such. Not set on any particular system, so open to any suggestion! (Including the new Cosmere RPG!) Looking for a table that can be lighthearted and silly but still respect the worldbuilding and story.

Jess (Manchester)

Seeking a gaming group

Played on and off over the years, pretty casually with friends, but want to get back into it. Tried DMing a few times but looking just to be PC for foreseeable. Would do in person (at board game café, pub, etc) or online. Really enjoy the role play & storytelling most.

It was the book that rekindled my love of reading in my teens that’s carried into adulthood, it's a good story, well written characters and interesting take on a piece of the world
