Tony (Chesham)
Seeking a book club
I am 67 and have a wide range of books I enjoy reading. Crime and thrillers are a good genre to chill out to, but I also like novels. My favourite recent books are The 7 Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Reid Jenkins, which is simply a novel, and the First 15 Lives of Harry August by Claire North, which is quite sci-fi. I donโt only read books with numbers in the titleโฆ Being able to meet up fortnightly or monthly would be nice.

Seeking a book club
Looking to join a friendly book club. Iโm in my mid-20โs and I particularly like reading fantasy but will read pretty much anything. Iโve been in a reading slump for a while now, so hoping that a book club with help get me back into reading and be a way to meet some new people.

Bobby K (High Wycombe)
Seeking a book club
I love to read though must confess to sticking with the same authors and genres. I'd really like to be challenged by fellow readers to try out recommendations from alternative authors and/or genres. Currently reading the "Gabriel Allon" series of books by Daniel Silva. Lee Child, Michael Connelly and David Baldacci have been other authors I have enjoyed with the occasional PG Wodehouse "Jeeves and Wooster" book thrown in for a laugh! It would be lovely to be part of a "face-to-face" group, perhaps meeting in a local coffee shop or other public venue.

Hello! My name is Isabella and I am hoping to meet other like-minded people in my local area! I am a big bookworm with a never ending TBR list who loves to go to local coffee shops, the library and to read outside in nature. I read mostly classic books and historical fiction, but I also enjoy some non-fiction and anything that takes my fancy! I don't enjoy reading any very scary or violent books like crime or horror. ๐

MDXreads (Chesham)
Seeking a book club
Im a mid-20s guy who only recently discovered the joy of reading โ now I'm making up for lost time. Iโve especially fallen for Japanese literature in translation; thereโs something about the quiet depth and subtle emotion that really resonates with me. Always up for thoughtful stories, slow-burn plots, and characters that linger in your mind long after the last page.

Seeking a book club
I read/listen to books of various genres, including non fictions and from classical to contemporary lit. Lately I finished The Flash Boys, Catch-22, The Invention of Hugo Cabret, re-read Call of the Wild and White Fang and have been working to get started with Consider Phlebas by Iain M Banks. For non-fictions, just finished The Psychology of Money and last year Sapiens, now re-visiting The Archaeology of Mind. It would be nice to be able to discuss thoughts on the books, so it's both social and stimulating.
