I like discussing the book and hearing other interpretations. Itโ€™s great hearing how different people respond to the prose and the meaning they attach to the metaphor. Itโ€™s also great to get real recommendations.

Great imagery and metaphor. An amazing depiction of folk lore and itโ€™s origins in human nature. I loved it.

Izaz Khan (Luton)

Seeking a book club

The pursuit of wisdom gives meaning to one's life. I love reading books. Reading ignites ideas in one's mind. It gives you the vision, and intellect, to understand and change the world. I would love to get in touch with book-loving pursuers of wisdom to exchange thoughts and ideas with. I am interested in all types of books. However, I prefer, and love, philosophy, history, sociology, marxism, anthropology, law, existentialism, etc.

Ben & Mel (Dunstable)

Seeking a gaming group

We are a couple in our early 30s who like to play boardgames and have an introductory interest in TTRPGs like D&D and Call of Cthulhu. The boardgames we have and play range from Settlers of Catan and Ticket to Ride, through Betrayal at House on the Hill and Letters from Whitechapel to Gloomhaven. We're currently in the process of moving to Dunstable and are looking for (or to create) a friendly group to hang out and play games with.
