I'm interested in getting involved in a book group to give myself additional motivation to get back into reading and to dedicate time to something I enjoy rather than spending it being a mum to young children. I mostly read sci Fi/fantasy books but interested in a variety of genres

This is a well-written romantic comedy that made me laugh out loud quite a few times. There's an issue at the heart of it which I enjoyed discussing with my online bookclub and we loved the setting, in a country house near Bath.

Linda (Bristol)

Seeking a book club

I am looking on behalf of my mum linda. She lost her husband,my dad, coming up to 2 years ago. As she was his full time carer, she's has gotten out of touch with people and due to being hard of hearing, has lost her confidence. Reading is something she has always loved but has gotten out of the habit of picking up a book due to no spare time. Now that she is living alone and due to compilation family reasons,I cannot visit enough, and I want her to enjoy her life. She is retired and has plenty of time.

It takes you back to the birth of one of histories greatest characters Genghis Khan. The detail and storytelling is so good and is an author I always enjoy.
