40 yo guy. Played a couple TTRPGs in the last 3 years. Unisystem. But very much newbie. I’ve run a couple of one-shots that I’ve written too, which was fun. Looking for a group of folks who might be down to have someone join and maybe at some point run a one shot or even a campaign… happy with any system, just might need a bit of patience while I learn.

Hi I’m Jason, I’ve only just got into reading this year and have been reading the works of John Steinbeck as well as George Orwell and Philip K Dick who have written social novels and sci-fi respectively. Hello, I've just started to take an interest in literature again after spending few years studying, so preoccupied with the dryness of academia. Books that have stood out and remained in my memory from past readings have been strange mix of Herman Hesse, Dostoevsky, Irvine Welsh, and philosophical things. I'm by no means confined to any particular genre, and open to reading new/ unfamiliar areas, and things less intense. It might be good to meet new people, read some things collectively, and talk about books and other topics if and when they come up.

I'm open to reading most genres (not a fan of romance though). I especially love literature that takes me to places and cultures I've not experienced in real life. Would be interested in meeting for monthly/fortnightly book discussion, online or in-person (though as a full-time wheelchair-user I need accessible venues which are limited in my area).
