The Grantham walking group offers a range of local walks on Thursdays and Sundays. Thursday walks are usually 4 to 6 miles, while Sunday walks are generally 8 to 10 miles, with routes mostly within 20 miles of Grantham and at a leisurely to moderate pace. People can try a few walks free before deciding whether to join as members, and dogs are allowed unless stated otherwise, provided they stay on a lead.

They meet at 02 - Grantham Town Football Club, Trent Road, Grantham, 03 - Guildhall (Avenue Road corner) We meet at ///yoga.shades.spots (what3words), and 01 - Grantham Tennis Club. Runs are usually on Monday, Thursday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Sessions cater for get me started, challenge me, keep me going, and all levels runners. Distances: 10k+, 5 - 10k, and 0 - 5k.

Welcome to Grantham Friendly Gamers – a group for those who enjoy hobby boardgames, card games, good company and the occasional beer. We like to play a wide variety of games such as gateway titles, medium-heavy euros, 18XX, Ameritrash and party games. We've been running since 2016 with over 100 active members. In addition to posting on Facebook, we also use BGG to promote events. We meet on one Saturday per month from 11.15 to 6.00 at Ropsley Memorial Village Hall, a small village just outside Grantham with accessible facilities and free parking. There is a £5 fee (concessions available) while children under 16 can come for free as long as they are supervised. Feel free to bring your own food and refreshments, and we have a fridge and microwave on hand. Each session has a loose theme, but all games are welcome. People even arrange their own games outside of organised events to play longer titles or games that require more space. Meets at Grantham Library on Run by Judith Fisher Library service Lincolnshire County Council - Libraries Our group meets on the first Monday of the month (unless it is a Bank Holiday and then it is the second Monday!). We meet in the centre of Grantham in the main town Library in the Isaac Newton Shopping Centre between 2 pm - 3 pm. Because of room size, our maximum number is 12 and we currently have no places but welcome enquiries. Our books are provided by Lincolnshire Library Service and we each choose a book. We often read books from outside our normal 'comfort zone' and we have learnt a great deal from a wide range of non-fiction, as well as fiction.
