Nerdy Ladies of NOVA (Barry)

Gaming group

. We are a bunch of Northern Virginia women who celebrate geeky, nerdy, and fandom-y interests. Our mission is to form a friendly, fun community in our often fast-paced and professional area, explore new adventures, and do some good. Join us and discover your inner nerd! We hold frequent activities like crafternoons, pub quizzes, game nights, and "un-book clubs", plus one-off attractions like conventions, theatre trips, and group activities. Are you into D&D? We have a great connection with the Alexandria Dungeons & Dragons Meetup. Everyone is welcomed here, without judgment, whatever their age, race, financial situation, gender identity, sexuality, or political leanings. We ask all members to subscribe to emails from us too, so you can keep up with developments like our D&D relationship, and any event updates. We also ask for $5 annual dues, which helps with expenses like Meetup fees and materials for events. If you're new, you can chat with Kristen or Megan if you need help with payments or more information. Show your Nerdy Ladies pride with t-shirts, tote bags, and stickers from our shop! And join our Discord server for real-time nerdy conversations. During the pandemic, we are still planning both in-person and virtual events, but if you attend in-person, we kindly ask that you are fully immunized. Plus, you can check our scheduled events below. Get nerdy with us!
