The Long Walk
by Stephen King | Learn more and buy
Is a good book for getting info on a character's psyche through difficult situations, and manages to avoid some of the usual flaws from Stephen King's work

Seeking a book club

I am retired and am looking for new hobbies as I find myself spending too much in the evenings on my iPad! Before moving to Farndon three years ago I enjoyed going to a Book Group in Beeston. However, this is too far to travel so I am looking for a local group to join. The aspects of a book group I particularly enjoy are reading books I wouldnโ€™t necessarily have chosen myself and the group discussion about the book afterwards.
