Bazzatron (Gainsborough)
Seeking a gaming group
Looking for group local to Gainsborough. Can possibly bring one or two regulars if you have a small /No group Cut my teeth playing 3.5e back at University, but I'm very familiar with 5e. I've played in Pathfinder, Dread and Dark Heresy games briefly. Following the SRD debacle I've been moving away from 5e to indie systems like Wildsea, Lancer and more recently Mothership (thanks Quinn's Quest...!) I enjoy a good balance between roleplay and butting up against rules based puzzles and combat - though it takes me a while to warm to a new group when it comes to role play 😅 I'd like to play more different games and play with the same group - I'm new to the area so it'd be great to meet some people up here. The gritty stuff - Bazz (any) 34 / Masc. Happily married. Zero tolerance for discriminatory behaviour. I enjoy a wide variety of hobbies including tabletop (obviously) and I run the official unofficial Gaslands discord/sub, woodworking, programming, cooking and art. I used to love videogames, but a good one is so rare these days...! 😅 I'm also quite interested in philosophy and politics - but I try not to let it get in the way 😆🤐 Anyway - that's my life story. I hope to find a like-minded group to play a lot of games that are off the beaten path, or sink my teeth into a longer campaign. Happy to meet digitally or hybrid if you prefer "tryouts". Thanks for reading!

Georgia (Bourne)
Seeking a book club
Hi! I'm Georgia, 25, and a bit of a nerd. I love reading but have not done nearly enough of it over the past couple of years! For the rest of the year, my aim is to get back into books properly, get off of social media, and heal my short attention span. I really love anything romantasy and high fantasy, as well as contemporary fiction, anything dark academia and the occassional classic. I'd like to find some other readers or a group to give and get recommendations :)

Interesting in reading just about anything. Looking to combine my goals of becoming more well-read and bettering my social skills. Currently began reading 'Dracula' and 'Pride and Prejudice'. Enjoy film and have recently developed a love for Expressionist art and wish to develop my creative, artistic side. Enjoy non-fiction and exploring the works of past scholars such as Marx or Hobbes. Enjoy the writings of DuBois and of bell hooks.

I like to read crime novels mainly, I’m trying to enjoy other books, but they don’t capture me as much as a crime novel. I’d love to chat about books, read other genres and meet people.
