I'm looking for a new DnD campaign in Lincoln. I've only played one campaign and a few one-shots, and got into the game watching Dimension20.

I am a forever GM of 3-4 years looking to finally be a player. I like to get deep into character when possible and an very excited to talk with a GM regarding their world so that my character fits in that world like a glove. While combat is fun, I've always preferred the roleplay and character side of the game most.

(23-Male) I've been DM'ing for a couple years now and have been creating my own homebrew world for the same amount of time :) I like to run pretty serious games but that's not to say I don't like the goofy side of DnD. I like to tell a good colaborative story with my players and I love seeing their backstories fleshed out in the world and see their characters grow to something they want them to be! Although I do equally like putting people in peril and punishing their characters for stupid in-world decisions (if they are made, which they most often are lol)

Bazzatron (Gainsborough)
Seeking a gaming group
Looking for group local to Gainsborough. Can possibly bring one or two regulars if you have a small /No group Cut my teeth playing 3.5e back at University, but I'm very familiar with 5e. I've played in Pathfinder, Dread and Dark Heresy games briefly. Following the SRD debacle I've been moving away from 5e to indie systems like Wildsea, Lancer and more recently Mothership (thanks Quinn's Quest...!) I enjoy a good balance between roleplay and butting up against rules based puzzles and combat - though it takes me a while to warm to a new group when it comes to role play π I'd like to play more different games and play with the same group - I'm new to the area so it'd be great to meet some people up here. The gritty stuff - Bazz (any) 34 / Masc. Happily married. Zero tolerance for discriminatory behaviour. I enjoy a wide variety of hobbies including tabletop (obviously) and I run the official unofficial Gaslands discord/sub, woodworking, programming, cooking and art. I used to love videogames, but a good one is so rare these days...! π I'm also quite interested in philosophy and politics - but I try not to let it get in the way ππ€ Anyway - that's my life story. I hope to find a like-minded group to play a lot of games that are off the beaten path, or sink my teeth into a longer campaign. Happy to meet digitally or hybrid if you prefer "tryouts". Thanks for reading!

Played mostly D&D 5e for nearly 8 years, having to go online for the majority of the time and recently moved locally to North Hykeham and want to get back into in person games. Played for a while, I tend to enjoy most playstyles of games. Have done Pathfinder 1e and 2e too but not experienced

Grantham Friendly Gamers (Grantham)
Gaming group
Welcome to Grantham Friendly Gamers β a group for those who enjoy hobby boardgames, card games, good company and the occasional beer. We like to play a wide variety of games such as gateway titles, medium-heavy euros, 18XX, Ameritrash and party games. We've been running since 2016 with over 100 active members. In addition to posting on Facebook, we also use BGG to promote events. We meet on one Saturday per month from 11.15 to 6.00 at Ropsley Memorial Village Hall, a small village just outside Grantham with accessible facilities and free parking. There is a Β£5 fee (concessions available) while children under 16 can come for free as long as they are supervised. Feel free to bring your own food and refreshments, and we have a fridge and microwave on hand. Each session has a loose theme, but all games are welcome. People even arrange their own games outside of organised events to play longer titles or games that require more space. We'd love to see you at one of our events β follow and contact us on Facebook, Twitter, or Email.
