Most Greek myths a have been presented from masculine perspective and can be dark and violent tales of wars and campaigns. Madeline's Circe describes the heartbreaking, romantic, tale of an immortal who is captivated by a mortal hero returning from campaign, and its beautifully written. Pure fantasy and escapism.

It was a really interesting read and was based on two relatives writing in two different times one period and present day - couldn’t put it down.

The series’s is just great how it falls into place and all makes sense.
