BookwormBelle1191 (Ballyclare)

Seeking a book club

34F living in Ballyclare for a year and still have yet to find a suitable book club that is flexible for meeting up every week or two. Fantasy, Detective, Classic and Gothic tend to be the genres I read the most, but I am open to other genres if the story sounds interesting.

Does something different with the zombie genre by narration coming from the zombie's perspective and written with plenty of intrigue and humour. The romance is also very well done and the story has a lot of heart.
Storm Front by Jim Butcher

First book in the Dresden Files, introducing the main characters, how the magic system works and tells a good story with lots of humour and crazy yet awesome moments
Practical Magic by Alice Hoffman

The book that inspired the Halloween classic that is Practical Magic. What I love about the book other than the witchy atmosphere is the relationship between Sally and Gillian who are very different from each other yet as sisters they remain close. The book goes more in depth with their perspectives and with Sally's daughters as they grow and mature

Seeking a gaming group

Hi there, I'm from Ballymena, mainly looking to meet new people, I have an interest in TTRPGs, especially DND and would like to get more into it, but I'm a complete newbie with it comes to that world. Other than that I'm a pretty laid guy, always down for a chat and I get along with most people. I don't really know what else to put here if I'm honest, if there's anything you'd like to know about me just send me an email sure, thanks.

Seeking a book club

I’m 32F and love anything with romance, contemporary drama, or a dash of fantasy. Big fan of Emily Henry, Elsie Silver, and Kristen Hannah. I’m looking to join a bookclub to meet new people, try books I might not pick up myself, and have some fun chats (Hopefully with some coffee or wine)
